Pre-Delivery Familarization

Taking delivery of a new Cirrus G6? Our pre-delivery program will get you familiar with the G6 aircraft and the

                           Perspective+ Avionics system so that you can maximize your training time in Knoxville.

     Includes:

  • Systems review.

  • Emergency procedures.

  • Garmin Perspective+ architecture.

  • PFD and MFD functions.

  • Loading and executing flight plans, approaches and holding patterns.

  • Vnav functions.

  • Autopilot and Audio panel operations.

  • Takeoff and landing procedures and best practices.

  • Flight maneuvers.

  • High performance endorsement if required.

 2 Day Intensive Cirrus Boot Camp

Take your Cirrus Flying Skills to a new level

The SR Boot Camp® is a 2-day "Serious Recurrent" training course for Cirrus Pilots.  The purpose is to raise the client's proficiency to a higher level resulting in a more confident and safer pilot.

The course includes:

  • FAA Flight Review and Instrument Proficiency Check

  • A thorough review of your aircraft systems

  • Airmanship skills and introduction to Commercial Maneuvers

  • SR Landing Challenge

  • Grass runway checkout (if requested and conditions permit)

  • Emergency Procedures

  • Performance Flight Planning

  • Advanced IFR Procedures

  • Introduction to E3 (Enhanced Envelope Exercises®)

  • The flight portion of the course includes 4 different flights of approximately 2 hours each.

 

The course takes place in Apalachicola, FL (KAAF), can be flown in your aircraft or our 2020 SR20 G6 with Perspective+ avionics. Arrangements can also be made to train at your location.
